Share Send is a web-based tool to send those big files you have (up to 100MB in size) that you cannot deliver via email.

To start off, you need to upload your file to Share Send and then decide whether you want to share your file by grabbing its unique URL or by sending out a tweet message with a shortened link to your file in it.

BitZen takes care of sending all those large files that you have on your computer and that you simply cannot send via e-mail. Registration is mandatory.

The free plan of BitZen allows you to transfer files up to 2GB and manage a 1GB online storage space.
There is no restriction on the type of files you can send but please note that all files you upload are deleted after seven days.

FileSocial is a free file sharing service that works via Twitter. There is no restriction regarding the type of file you can share. You just have to link the service with your Twitter account (no credentials are requested) and then you can start uploading your file (up to 50MB).

If you feel to, you can also add a short message along with the shortened link to your uploaded file.

  • Click2Copy

Click2Copy is a free file sharing application that allows you to send files of any size straight from your web browser. Click2Copy is also P2P-based, which means that file transfers occur directly from computer to computer without an online server being involved. Please note that Java needs to be enabled on your computer for the service to work.

To use Click2Copy just select a file on your computer and add the name and email address of your selected recipient. Your recipient will then get a link to CliCkToCopy where she can securely claim her file.

  • DROPitTOme

    Dropittome.jpg

DROPitTOme is a free application that works in combination with your Dropbox account and allows anyone to transfer you files of any kind. The maximum file upload size is 75MB and all files transferred are encrypted for greater security.

Just register to the service and then authorize the application to connect with your Dropbox account. You will find a new folder right inside your Dropbox account called DROPitTOme that will store all the files you receive using the application. All other files and folders will remain untouched.

To allow your peers to transfer large files to your DROPitTOme folder, you will get a unique upload address like www.dropitto.me/username which is password-protected. Also, you will get an email notification whenever a new file is uploaded.
